A mission with impact 

At the Máxima Center, we work with dedication and determination on better treatments and new perspectives for cure. Our direct contact with children and families makes clear what drives us. It brings pride, motivation, and meaning to the work of everyone in our organization. 

The child and family at the center 

Children and their families are always at the center of everything we do. Our development focused care helps ensure that everyday life continues as much as possible, even during illness. Parents and children are actively involved. Parent–child rooms, family living rooms, play areas, and music rooms make a real difference. Teams work proactively together to support the child’s development within the family.
